Class size limited to approximately 10 students each:

  • Students must bring their own non-perishable snacks from home.
    • Snacks will be eaten with social distancing
    • No sharing food
  • No parents or visitors allowed on site
  • Director, Teachers and all staff wear PPE (Face shield, mask & gloves) at all times. 
  • Students inside of their classrooms are required to wear masks. Additionally by drop off, pick up, using restrooms and any other space that is shared by more than one class, students will be required to wear a mask.
  • Frequent hand washing/sanitizing will be instructed by teachers.
  • No staff rooms
  • Staff radios are kept in possession, used batteries are swapped for charged batteries, sanitized and recharged.
  • No water fountains. 
  • Every teacher/student must wash/sanitize between activities, snack & dismissal
  • Every bunk will have their own designated washing station.
  • Each group will have their own supplies. There will be no supply sharing. 
  • These guidelines will be updated and revised as the laws, guidelines and situation changes

Health Policies:

  • Every student and staff member must be temperature checked before entering the building each day.
  • Any student or staff member who has traveled out of the country, out of state or has been in close contact with someone who has a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19 will not be admitted to school for 14 days.
  • Any student or staff member who has experienced fever, vomiting, cough, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell or other symptoms typical of Covid-19 will be unable to rejoin the program until 72 hours after the symptoms subside, in most cases a negative test result and/or doctor’s note will be required before returning.
  • Any student or staff member who displays a high temperature (>100.4) or other symptoms during school hours will be isolated and sent home ASAP.
  • Hand washing and other safety signs posted around campus reminding students and staff to wash hands and stay vigilant.
  • We strongly discourage having play dates with children from other groups. 

Staffing:

  • Students will be in groups of up to approximately 10 students.
  • All students and teachers will remain with their own group at all times, there will be no floaters.
  • Maintenance staff member will be hired to clean & sanitize full time, cleaning bathrooms, classrooms and equipment.
  • Director, teachers, maintenance & support staff will minimize engagement with students. 
     

Program:

  • No trips
  • No busing
  • No large group activities
  • Groups will spend majority of time in their own classroom. 
  • Each student receives:
  • Arts & Craft supply kit (scissors, glue, markers, pen etc)
  • Activity box
  • All workbooks, text books, worksheets and Hebrew  curriculum for personal use only.  

Every class receives:

  • Labeled drawer or bucket for each student
  • General Arts & Craft supplies
  • first aid kit
  • Disinfectant
  • Paper towels
  • Gloves
  • Extra masks 

Arrival:

  • Director greets at car, parents do not come out unless required.
  • All administrators with PPE, thermal thermometers & check in, any student with fever (over 100.4) is sent home.
  • Sanitizer station right inside door, anyone entering the campus must first sanitize.
  • We strongly discourage carpooling. 
  • In case of infection:
  • Anyone showing symptoms will be isolated and sent home.
  • In case of infection, the members of the affected class will need to self isolate at home for 14 days and show negative COVID 19 test results before returning to school.
  • We will develop a clear communication plan to keep parents informed and updated on the situation.
