This course covers a very somber period for the Jewish people, the 2,000-year-long exile that began with the Roman conquest of Jerusalem. Students learn about Anti-Semitism through the ages and the resilience of the Jewish people as they withstood the forces of evil from the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, pogroms, communism, and most recently, the Holocaust.
